We want webranko.co.uk to be usable by everyone — not as a legal checkbox exercise, but because building an inaccessible website while running a web development agency would be a bit embarrassing, frankly.
This page explains what we’ve done to make the site accessible, where we know it currently falls short, and how to get in touch if you run into a problem.
This website is operated by Corebridge Integrated Services Ltd, trading as Webranko (Company No. 17109987).
Our Commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across all pages of webranko.co.uk. These guidelines are the internationally recognised standard for web accessibility, and Level AA is the level most widely considered the practical benchmark for business websites.
Under the Equality Act 2010, we also have a legal duty to make reasonable adjustments so that disabled people can access our services. This statement is part of how we demonstrate that commitment — but more importantly, it’s a record of actual work, not just words.
What We’ve Done
Here’s what we’ve built into the site specifically with accessibility in mind:
Colour and contrast Text throughout the site meets or exceeds the WCAG AA contrast ratio requirements — 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text. We didn’t just pick colours that look nice; we checked them.
Keyboard navigation Every interactive element on the site — navigation links, buttons, forms — can be reached and operated using a keyboard alone, without needing a mouse. Focus states are visible so you can always tell where you are on the page.
Screen reader compatibility We use semantic HTML throughout. Headings follow a logical hierarchy, images have descriptive alt text, and form fields have proper labels. The site has been tested with common assistive technologies.
Readable text Font sizes are set in relative units, so if you’ve set your browser or operating system to display larger text, the site will respect that rather than overriding it. Text can be resized up to 200% without content disappearing or overlapping.
Forms Our enquiry form includes clear labels, descriptive error messages, and doesn’t rely on colour alone to indicate required fields or validation errors.
Cookie consent banner Our cookie consent banner is keyboard navigable, uses ARIA roles correctly, and can be dismissed or interacted with using assistive technologies.
No flashing content There’s nothing on this site that flashes more than three times per second — the threshold that can trigger seizures in people with photosensitive epilepsy.
Page titles Every page has a unique, descriptive title so that screen reader users and people with multiple tabs open can distinguish between pages easily.
Known Limitations
We’d rather be honest about this than pretend the site is perfect.
- Some older blog posts and case study content may contain images without alt text. We’re working through these retrospectively.
- Embedded third-party content — such as videos or maps if used in future — may not fully meet accessibility standards. We’ll flag this if and when that content appears.
- PDF documents, if we publish any, may not be fully accessible to screen readers. We’ll work to provide accessible alternatives where possible.
If you find something we’ve missed, please tell us. We take it seriously.
Browser and Assistive Technology Support
We test the site across modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. We also test with common screen readers.
We don’t support Internet Explorer. It’s 2026 — we think that’s a reasonable call.
How to Report an Accessibility Problem

Technical Information
This website uses HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. It’s built on WordPress with a custom theme. We’ve made deliberate choices throughout the build to prioritise clean, semantic markup over shortcuts that might look the same visually but break accessibility.
We review this statement and conduct accessibility checks when we make significant changes to the site. The next scheduled review is due in June 2027.
Feedback
Accessibility is genuinely something we care about — partly because it’s the right thing to do, and partly because accessible websites tend to be better websites full stop. Faster, cleaner, more usable for everyone. If you have suggestions for how we can improve, we’re listening.
